i'm bummed today.. :( i didn't get a job i was sure i could do well in.. my bad for assumming art directors who have seen my work will be able to know i can draw 'non-cartoony' figures with all the posts that i have of my figure drawing. it's disappointing.. but life has to go on.

Who has some pb&j to offer?

this is just a first pass of an artist studio, im still making changes to this layout to give a clear direction of whose room this is. i'm pushing myself to draw more 3-dimensional, pardon my perspective mistakes :P

2nd semester in grad school

i might have said this before, but GRAD SCHOOL IS INTENSE! so to make life even more challenging for myself, i'm planning to present the concept for my thesis this summer (!!!!!) this presentation usually happens after the 3rd or 4th semester... but i think i'm ready. I'm in the process of brain-storming for an epic story idea right now... boy! that has been quite an ordeal. if you have a cool story for me to create concept art for, HOLLA!

that's when a life-drawing class with Francis Livingston comes in handy, it balances the stress of writing a story.
